It's a easy counter tbh... I already gave up using this deck cuz it's not strong anymore with dredgers at 1/1 and the slow win condition. I beat this deck 9/10 of the time
This deck is the #1 deck in the current meta. I made one change to make it more optimal. I switched out all three "Ye Been Warned" cards with three "Sapling Toss" cards. Better synergy all around. Currently this deck has given me a 90+% win rate in ranked. Extremely hard to counter and the end game comes extremely fast when played correctly. I recommend this deck (with the change suggested) to anyone of any skill level.
Edit:
Made 2 more changes. Added 2 Mist's Call & 1 Atroctiy. Description can be found in my next comment below.

deck code pls...and why sampling tos?im new in dis game and my main deck is deep mons..
Use Jaull Hunters if you don't think your opponent can capitalize on its 1 HP or it's not worth the early investment. Save it for the late game due to Nautilus.
Sapling Toss is good 2 fold. 1) You add to the death count of Maokai. 2) Use it ONLY during your opponent's turn that you can pull an enemy unit.
I added 2 Mist's Call. When used it refreshes any of your units that use "Toss" so you get to toss twice in essence. It also revives your Maokai early game so make sure you keep a constant 3 meters available for use if this is in your hand.
2 Atrocities were added as you can use it on your Nautilus for 13 damage direct to the enemy Nexus. Higher ranked players have at least one Atrocity for this very reason.

Use speed to beat it.
The deck of the Readheads and the deck Power is Power are great choices.

I have to agree with you about this website being full of Maokai/ Nautilus decks, with most of them having almost the same cards and so the same strategy.
However, this specific one (Echoes from the Deep) was one of the very first to be uploaded (30th April, that's just 2 days after Rising Tides Patch went live) and also one of the best ones of the "Terrors from the Deep" archetype.

This Deck is Fantastic fun, there are clear weaknesses like a lee sin punching your nautalis every turn or rapidly rushing early game. Just remember this deck depends on RNG. They can have a bad hand. Don't act with fear and do all your heavy lifting before deep procs. Then keep things calm and target the win condition cards like Nautalis and Terror.
On the otherside to overcome that is to remain calm and collect cards. The only thing you can do to keep yourself alive and outlast your opponent is dictating the pace of the game. Your units are real heavy lifters, swing often if you have a lot of cards, defend and turtle when your low on cards. Its really a fun deck.

So is that overall what you recommend to play this deck? Would I need to use spells like jettison and salvage as soon as I get them? Also is it better to let the non sea monster cards die first to try and block attacking cards? Or try and save them? I guess it doesn't matter for the Dregs since you basically use their ability the instant they're on the field so it'd be better to let them die to protect right?

Hey, this deck is super strong rn, can someone tell me how to counter it plsss??

CelestialTieflingPosted: May 4th, 2020 | 2:36 PM
Its easy to counter, use Ephemeral with phantom trickster or neverglade. This deck is strong but the biggest thing to remember is without the 9 cost that lowers 2 attack notes, it is incredibly easy to counter since the only fearson is nautalis. You goal is to slam early, and body block later. Always target Nautalis or Terror of the Tides and your fine. If they put out evolved maokai well...that's the win condition. Early game rush and swarm decks get the easily. I prefer the spiteful drain decks.

Hello, i played a lot this deck in ranked, it seem bad versus aggro. I made some modifications that get this more constancy versus most of deck a better win rate. You can find my deck: Echos from the deep (survive) CEBQCAIFFABAEBIHBIDAEBQXEUTSYLZYAIAQEBIIAQBAMAI5DY2QGAICAY3ACAQFAMAQCBJC

I really like this deck ! due to so many aggro decks around, I've actually done away with Shipwreck hoarder, Riptide, Ye been warned for some quicker early game cards.

te recomiendo que tomes la base del mazo y hagas tus modificaciones segun tu juego , es decir le falta un poco de curacion a este mazo y el poder eliminar aliados oponentes

Been enjoying this deck, thanks for sharing. The deep mechanic feels so strong, and Nautilus just allows you to flood the board with sea monsters late game (no pun intended). Since this deck is lacking forms of control, I've found that I have difficulties against super aggro decks that go right at the nexus. Besides that, there's no better feeling than the instant ff that follows dropping the 13/13 Naut and his fishies.

I have found the same thing. Spiders, elusives, and other aggro decks in general beat this fairly often. I have added some updates, adding more maokai for turn 4 board presence and tossing. More toss cards in general to get deep quicker and more consistently. Removed the thorny toad because I found it too hard to kill him, added ye been warned for some more control over the board.

I've tried both versions and honestly I feel like removing all toads (maybe at least 1 or 2 would be ok) but mostly removing Make it Rain makes it only more difficult to stand against aggro.
I found that Makes it Rain helped me lot of times to kill elusive and noxus enemies, also not having any 2 mana units put you in serious trouble if the enemy has a Noxian deck, probably I'd take out 1 or 2 jettisons to put 1/2 make it rains.
3 Maokais seems a lot to me and I'd probably go for 2
